** A capacity is a dedicated database which can host a variable number of applications. The number of DTUs is important for the READ performance in the Frontend and depends (1) on the number of concurrent users in all applications within the database, (2) the number of records within in the fact table, (3) the complexity of the queries (bottom level, aggregated level, etc.) and (4) the activation of the Always Encrypted feature. Just for orientation, the included 5 DTUs are good e.g. for ~ 20.000 fact records, 3 concurrent users and “normal” workbooks. The capacity is set by yourself and is billed in retrospect on a hourly basis.
