Release July 2026 (before the summer break)

We are happy to deliver the brandnew July 2026 Release with the new brand data-one Cloud and many other Features! Try it now!

Remember, the Frontend is the user friendly spreadsheet for your Collector Users to deliver their monthly/weekly/daily data. The Modeller is the tool for the Power User to setup and control your organization’s collection workflows.

(1) Rebranding to data-one Cloud

After many years with data1.io it is time for a change and we are really proud to present our new brand data-one Cloud! This rebranding expresses that data-one evolves from a microservice for data collection to a planning plattform.

a) New Product Name and new URL

The product name changes from data1.io to data-one Cloud or shortly data-one. This is our new product logo:

The URL for the system changes from
https://app.data1.io/
to
https://my.data-one.cloud/

Of course, the old URLs for your applications will continue to work, your users will be redirected to the new URLs.

b) New Look & Feel

You will find the new logo icon in the Frontend

… as well as in the backend …

… and of course we have a new loading animation when entering a workbook in the frontend:

Compare it with the old logo in the frontend

… and the backend …

c) Next Steps

Next we will update / migrate also our website and the Helpcenter to the new branding.

(2) Modeller: Improved menu structure and renaming

Starting with our previous Admin Portal:

We have changed the order of the menu items on the left: the category Data Entry is now on the top of the menu since it is the central hub to the frontend and especially for new power users this is the angle point to understand the whole system.

We have changed the name of the “Admin Portal” now to “Modeller” since this term is more business user oriented.

Finally we have also updated the content of the landing page in order to give the data entry section more weight than before.

(3) Modeller: New Delete Applications function

We are happy that it is now possible not only to create a new data-one application but also to delete existing applications. This is especially useful to clean up your testing environments.

a) Backup application

If you press the “Delete” button on your application you will see a popup dialog. In this dialog you can create a backup of all the tables in your application – we strongly recommend to execute this backup before you delete your application.

A process is started that creates one Excel file per table …

… and after some minutes it will be finished and you can download a zip file …

… with all the backup files:

b) Delete application

To delete your application you have to type in “DELETE” in the popup dialog …

… and then the tables of your application will be physically deleted from your data-one database.

(4) Frontend: Resend Confirmation E-Mail for Registration

It happened that after registration some new users did not get the confirmation e-Mail:

With this release your useres will find a “Resend confirmation e-mail” button on the “Confirmation Sent” page. This button can be used

  • 1x per minute
  • 5x per hour
  • The link in the e-Mail will be 24 hours valid

(5) Frontend: separate Tab for each Workbook

We have changed the behaviour of the workbook buttons on the Collection Workflows landing page. Every time you press a workbook button on this page …

… an new tab will be opened for this workbook:

This makes it much easier to come back to the Collection Workflows landing page and open further workbooks.

(6) Frontend: Dynamic List Queries are Generally Available

We introduced Dynamic List Queries one year ago in July 2025 release, improved it in March 2026 release and did the final finetuning in this release. We are happy that this feature is now Generally Available (GA).

Note: watch the row numbers -> the rows are dynamically inserted and deleted.

We hope you like the new features – we are very curious about your feedback!

Please let us know what you think about data-one and what kind of planning and data collection processes you evaluate to automate.

We`ll be back after the summer break with the September Release!
